hi julia,
this was a fairly detailed and incisive review of nargis' book. after reading it, my perception is that it's a story of complex relationships and the choices people are forced to make from time to time in order to get gain acceptance in a hypocritical society.
thanks a lot for the sneak peek.

Hi Sandeep,
You are absolutely right....its a complex round of characters and situations, but worth reading, although at times one feels its a bit far fetched too, considering that you have a self-safrificing man in Rizwan, which is a rare thing really and I was actually glad when he finally gave in to his human side and had an affair with Lily. Worth reading boss!
