I Fell In Love With A Faceless Person

My dear Reffy,
Thank you so much for your inputs. They have made this post really worthwhile. I plan to put this comment on the post itself. I am deeply grateful. However, I will say this, that if we never open up, we will never be strong emotionally. The trial is in the experience of allowing us to feel pain and the good news is: it never is so hurtful, everytime. Not because the hurt is less, but because we are emotionally stronger. Its worth opening up and allowing ourselves the oppurtunity of a new experience. Why imagine things behind telephone calls. However, if one can't, then as you say, it is better than not having any intimacy at all.
Thank you Reffy! What an enlightenment!

Chanchal,
I can believe you...that the couple went for a second divorce. How can such things be taken seriously, I should think. Thanks for your comment,

I Fell In Love With A Faceless Person

Dear Reffy,
Thank you for your very valuable inputs especially from a scientific point of view. I too have no issues around finding one's own space to express and connect and communicate, but it seems if it become the only way one wants to relate, it does indicate some of the symptoms you indicated earlier on - stuff stemming from inferiority complex, fear of acceptance etc. But tell me, Reffy, when does one draw the line.....between knowing that its okay to fool around a bit on the net, but now its time to get real? There must be a time frame for that say, three months or so and then meet or drop it kind of thing? can you please enlighten us on that, because it is an important indicator, considering the fact that I must know, when to catch myself and say - Hey! Am I suffering infiriority complex around myself, which is why I don't want to make a more real connection and prefer to remain, in a shaded zone?

Dreams Everywhere

Promilla,

Just wonderful...especially that one line - dreams under the wet pillow - one could have missed the emotion there, its so subtly put. Wonderful!

Sands of Time

A wonderful poem Sudha

I look back,

And what do I see?

Many of them have made it,

Some of them have moved way ahead,

From where I’m,

But so many of them,

Have fallen back by the wayside,

They have been washed away,

By the pounding waves,

It always happens like that does it not? In retrospect, I mean?

Hi Promila,

Thanks for your comment. It was really good especially this part - No one is loosing anything as they think but in fact they are loosing the connection with the reality - you could not be more right!

I Fell In Love With A Faceless Person

Hi Sudha,
many points made by you are what I think too. It is sad that we are becoming more of virtual lovers than real ones. Yet, the pain of a failed love it still there but certainly not that much as it would be in real interactions. But what these relationships will however not produce is growth. Alas! What is the point of relationships then?
Thanks for your comment,

I Fell In Love With A Faceless Person

Hi Meera,
Wonderful to see you here! You know what, the scary thing is that one time, we needed to see each other and interact to fall in love, now it is apparent that it is all a mind-faq because you can do it with anyone - even a faceless person. Just goes to show, its really all in the mind! Thanks for visiting,

Left Divide Wide & Open

Maddss,
A post I was looking forward to. I am very sure that if it was not Bush in the picture, the story would be different. I am also told by very reliable sources that Dr MMS's government has been bought by the Bush government. So, here money will speak louder than loyalties as usual. The congress now has no option but to include all the criminals who have been serving a jail sentence to save their stay. But it is something to see for all of us - the state of the country is really in a mess. On the one hand we have a meek as a mouse PM who is highly educated and on the other hand we have a bunch of known criminals who must support him to save his(?) Government. What a tragedy of sorts after 61 years of Independence!!~!
